Body Freedom Method
Six weeks to change the pattern between you, food, and your body.
A self-paced program to help you step out of the cycle of body criticism, food rules, and constant mental noise and begin relating to your body differently.
You don't have to love your body every day. You can learn to stop fighting it.
6 weeks • Self-paced • Lifetime access

If you're tired of thinking about your body all the time, you're not alone.
Maybe you know exactly what you're “supposed” to eat.
Maybe you've spent years trying diets, rules, restriction, tracking, or simply trying harder.
Maybe you tell yourself you'll finally feel comfortable when your body changes.
Maybe getting dressed, seeing photos of yourself, going to the beach, eating around other people, or simply looking in the mirror can become an entire emotional event.
And maybe the hardest part is that you know how exhausting it is... but you don't know how to make it stop.
You don't need another set of rules. You need a different relationship with the pattern itself.
This isn't about learning to love your body every day.
Body Freedom Method isn't about forcing yourself to feel beautiful every time you look in the mirror. It's about changing the relationship you have with your body, food, and the thoughts that keep pulling you back into the same cycle.
Because freedom doesn't have to mean loving your body every minute.
It can look like eating without negotiating with yourself first.
It can look like putting on clothes without deciding whether you're “allowed” to wear them.
It can look like going to the beach without waiting for your body to change.
It can look like noticing a body thought without automatically believing it.
It can look like having a hard day without turning it into another reason to punish yourself.
This is about having more room for your actual life.
What changes
Six weeks to understand the pattern, interrupt the cycle, and build something different.
01
Understand
See what's actually keeping you stuck.
You'll identify the beliefs, triggers, and patterns shaping the way you experience your body and begin separating what you learned to believe from what is actually true for you.
02
Regulate
Learn what happens when your nervous system gets activated.
You'll learn to recognize your body's threat responses and practice tools that help you come down before the spiral takes over.
03
Reconnect
Move from evaluating your body to experiencing it.
You'll begin shifting away from constant monitoring, judgment, and disconnection and toward being more present in your body.
04
Make peace with food & your body
Let go of the rules that keep the cycle going.
Explore intuitive eating, body neutrality, self-compassion, and the beliefs that keep food and body image feeling so loaded.
05
Take your life back
Stop letting body image make your decisions.
Work with comparison, social situations, boundaries, and the everyday moments where body discomfort can pull you out of your life.
06
Make it sustainable
Build a way forward that lasts beyond the program.
Pull everything together, create practices and routines that work for you, and learn how to keep responding differently when old patterns show up.
This isn't six weeks of learning how to think positively about your body. It's six weeks of learning how to relate to your body differently.
You might be in the right place if...
You know what to do, but you keep ending up back in the same cycle.
You spend more mental energy thinking about food or your body than you want to.
You are tired of constantly evaluating, fixing, checking, or criticizing your body.
You avoid photos, clothes, social situations, or experiences because you don't feel comfortable in your body.
You've tried diets, restriction, food rules, or “starting over” and you're exhausted by the cycle.
You want a way of relating to food and your body that feels kinder, steadier, and more sustainable.
You don't need another diet. You don't need another set of rules. You need a different way forward.
It's not just about what you eat.
Body image can affect far more than what happens at mealtimes.
It can shape how you get dressed. Whether you go out. How you show up in photos. Whether you let yourself be seen. How much space you take up. How much of your life you spend thinking about yourself instead of living it.
Inside Body Freedom Method, you'll look underneath the surface of the struggle. You'll explore beliefs, triggers, emotional responses, nervous-system patterns, comparison, avoidance, self-criticism, and the learned messages that can keep the cycle going.
The goal isn't to blame yourself for having these patterns. It's to understand them well enough to begin responding differently.
What becomes possible when you stop fighting the same battle?
“I'll wear that when I lose weight.”
“I can wear what feels like me now.”
“I already ate too much. I might as well start again tomorrow.”
“I can listen to what I need without turning one meal into a verdict on myself.”
“I don't want to be in any photos.”
“I don't want to miss my life because I don't like how I look.”
“Why can't I just stop thinking about this?”
“I can notice the thought without letting it run the show.”
“I just need more discipline.”
“I can understand what's happening instead of fighting myself.”
Imagine having more room for your actual life.

Getting dressed without the entire process becoming a judgment of your body.
Eating a meal without mentally calculating what it means about you.
Seeing a photo of yourself without spiraling into criticism.
Going somewhere you've been avoiding because of how you feel in your body.
Noticing an old body thought and realizing you don't have to follow it.
Having difficult days without turning them into proof that you've failed.
You don't need to become perfectly confident or perfectly positive. You get to become less controlled by the pattern.

Real women. Real change.
Life feels lighter here
What women are saying about the Body Freedom Method
“I no longer feel that tension every time I eat.”
I felt trapped in a cycle of restrictive eating and self-criticism, convinced that I had to control every aspect of my diet to feel worthy.
The tools I learned have changed how I feel about food completely. I no longer feel that tension every time I eat, and I trust my body to tell me what it needs.
I'm finally free from the endless battle with food.
“I actually enjoy meals now without stressing about every bite.”
I was exhausted from the constant guilt and shame I felt around eating. No matter what I tried, diets, food rules, restriction, I always ended up feeling worse about myself.
For the first time, I learned to see food as nourishment, not the enemy. I actually enjoy meals now without stressing about every bite.
The best part of this journey has been the freedom I now feel. I no longer have that constant mental battle over food.
“I was missing out on life by waiting to feel good enough.”
For so long, I'd avoided social situations and even basic joys like going to the beach because I didn't feel comfortable in my own skin.
Traci helped me see how deeply I'd tied my worth to my appearance and that I was missing out on life by waiting to feel ‘good enough.’
Now, I'm living fully, saying yes to things I used to avoid and feeling a new sense of freedom.

About Traci
I know this struggle from both sides.
I'm Traci Schneider, a licensed therapist and the creator of the Body Freedom Method.
Over the years, I watched women come into therapy carrying some version of the same struggle again and again. Sometimes body image or food wasn't even the reason they originally came to therapy. And yet it kept showing up.
The guilt around eating. The constant self-criticism. The feeling that life would finally begin when their body changed. The exhausting mental noise. The ways body dissatisfaction quietly shaped their choices.
I also know this struggle personally.
I created Body Freedom Method because I saw how pervasive this pattern was, how much women were carrying, and how badly they needed something different from another set of rules.
My approach draws from my background as a licensed therapist, licensed addictions counselor, embodiment coach, yoga teacher, and mindfulness practitioner. Body Freedom Method brings those perspectives together into a structured self-paced program designed to help you understand the pattern, work with your nervous system, reconnect with your body, and create a different way forward.
“I no longer feel the need to hide.”
I'd avoid events, cover up in clothes that didn't reflect my personality, and constantly obsess over how I looked.
Through our work, I learned to view my body in a new way and let go of the need for perfection.
I no longer feel the need to hide. I'm comfortable showing up as myself, dressing in a way that feels authentic, and letting go of the need for perfection.
Simple by design.

Body Freedom Method may not be for you if...
You are looking for live coaching, personalized feedback, or direct access to me.
You want a quick fix or another set of strict food or body rules.
You are looking for a program focused on weight loss.
You need individualized treatment or clinical care for an eating disorder or another mental-health condition.
You don't want to spend any time reflecting, practicing, or engaging with the material.
But if you're ready to understand your patterns, step out of the constant fight with food and your body, and practice a different way of relating to yourself, you're welcome here.
You don't have to wait until you feel better about your body to start living your life.
There may always be another reason to wait.
Until you lose the weight. Until your body changes. Until you feel confident. Until you finally figure out food. Until you stop having body thoughts.
But you don't have to make your life conditional on any of those things. You can start changing the relationship now.

You don't need to love your body every day. You just don't need to fight it constantly.
Imagine having somewhere to come back to when the old patterns show up.
A place to understand what's happening.
A way to regulate before the spiral takes over.
Tools to reconnect with your body.
Practices to help you respond differently.
And a framework you can return to long after the six weeks are over.
That's what Body Freedom Method was created for.
